The Mango fest Committee has organized an Art competition in schools as part of its series of activities planned towards the run-ups of Aug 15 & 16.

Students between the ages 5 -16 year-old are asked to submit drawings or paintings depicting the theme, “Mango Fest.”

Guidelines For Teachers

The art teachers should photocopy flyer and distribute one entry to each art student, then explain the art contest and theme to the students.

Students are to participate and help with ideas if necessary.

The paintings must be the original work of one child only it can only be in any medium or combination of pencils or crayons, wax crayons, markers, watercolors, airbrush).

It should not be smaller than 12 X 16 inches, preferably, 14 X 18. A painted border is suggested, no frames.

The Name, Age, School, and Telephone Number of the artist must be clearly marked on the back of the painting. No names should be visible on the front.

The entries are limited to one per person, the teachers are expected to collect the artwork from students and deliver them by 4:30 on Tuesday, June 30 at the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Housing & The Environment Headquarters on Queen Elizabeth Highway & Independence Drive.
